Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has officially moved the date of Christmas from Jan 7 to Dec. 25th, in another step to differentiate Ukraine from Russia. In this very personal essay, I explain why I and many others in the Ukrainian diaspora will be sticking to the ‘Old Calendar’ traditions.
