  • One year ago this weekend, Russia sent a rocket hitting the waiting platform of the Kramatorsk railway station. Sixty-one people - including several children - were killed while waiting for the train to evacuate from the front. Afterwards, Human Rights Watch accused Russia of committing a "war crime"

  • A 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed in a Russian military strike overnight in the city of Zaporizhzhya in southeastern Ukraine as Russia’s military offensive in the east showed no signs of a letup. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said Poland will deliver 200 Rosomak infantry fighting vehicles, with half of them to arrive shortly - RFE/RL
