  • G7 leaders said they will “starve Russia of G7 technology, industrial equipment and services that support its war machine". Measures will restrict export of items "critical to Russia on the battlefield". Sanctions will also target groups accused of moving material to the front for Moscow. However, as I told BBC World Television, the western sanctions packages haven’t had the desired paralysing effect on Moscow
